Autour du Golfe de Saint-Tropez : la presqu'île et Gassin

The campsite is perched in Gassin, one of the most beautiful villages in France, and that makes all the difference. You're not right on the water, but overlooking the gulf, with beaches just a few kilometers away and villages within easy driving distance. Pampelonne for the peninsula's main beach, L'Escalet and Gigaro for quieter coves to the south. Saint-Tropez for its port, citadel, and the market at Place des Lices. Ramatuelle and Grimaud for their charming streets and scenic views. Gassin itself can be explored in a stroll: a few streets, a panoramic view of the entire bay, and Azur Park right next door for families.

Beaches, coves and fresh air

The sea comes first, of course. Sandy beaches, small coves, coastal paths: each village has its own. On the Estérel side, reaching the water sometimes requires a bit of a walk, but the coves are well worth the effort. On the Gulf side, the coastal path connects Pampelonne to L'Escalet and Gigaro, allowing you to find your own spot away from the August crowds.
