Getting to Grasse from your accommodation at the 5-star Oasis Village in Puget-sur-Argens
The Jasmine Festival in Grasse is a wonderful opportunity for a fun family outing. Held annually since 1948, it marks the start of the jasmine harvest, a flower still cultivated in Grasse today. It takes place every year on the first weekend of August and lasts for three days in the historic city center and along the Cours Honoré Cresp. The proximity of your accommodation in the 5-star Oasis Village holiday village allows you to reach the town of Grasse in under 45 minutes and enjoy all the activities it has to offer.
The jasmine festival is a colorful and fragrant celebration
The festivities traditionally begin on the first weekend of August, offering a variety of entertainment for all ages, both during the day and in the evening. The parade of flower-covered floats is a highlight of the event. The crowd is sprayed with jasmine blossom water, and Miss Grasse and her runners-up throw flowers to the participants: a lovely way to perfume your accommodation upon your return to your 5-star Oasis holiday village. The Jasmine Festival also features a grand fireworks display, concerts, street performances, children's activities including water games and wooden games, flower-decorated bicycle and square boules competitions, costumed and musical parades, brass bands, flag throwers, and more.
The Mass for Princess Pauline is followed by an aperitif offered by the town. Aioli is featured in all the town's restaurants, a perfect opportunity to discover this Provençal culinary specialty in a festive atmosphere.
