In the low season (May, June, September), expect to pay from €449 to €749 per week for a 3-4 room bungalow or chalet, or approximately €60 to €100 per night for two people. During peak season, prices for a 5-star campsite on the French Riviera start at €800 per week, depending on the type of accommodation and the exact dates. By comparison, a double room in a 3-star hotel on the French Riviera in summer costs around €150 to €250 per night, without a kitchen, private terrace, or pool access. The space-to-price ratio clearly favors high-end campsites, especially during the off-season.
Tips for booking your stay as a couple
Book 3 to 6 months in advance for July and August, especially if you're aiming for a Premium Chalet or villa, as the more intimate accommodations tend to be booked first. For May, June, or September, a month's notice is usually sufficient.
For a quiet location or one away from busy areas, please mention this in writing when booking. It is not guaranteed, but reception will take this into account whenever possible.
As a couple, there's no need to book a large accommodation: a 2-room chalet or bungalow is sufficient for two, more intimate, and cheaper than a family villa.
If you are staying at Oasis Village in July or August, remember to book the massage room as soon as you arrive. Appointments fill up quickly during peak season.
You can also opt to book a camping stay at the last minute, especially at the beginning and end of the season, but the choice of accommodation will be limited.

The couple seeking peace and privacy
You're not here for the entertainment. You're here for the terrace at sunrise, coffee under the pine trees, and the almost empty pool at 8 a.m. This type of traveler benefits from booking outside of July and August, in May, June, or September, when both campsites are operating at 60-70% capacity. The preferred accommodations are the 4-star wooden chalets in the Gulf of St-Tropez, with their hedges that provide privacy for each pitch, or the 5-star Premium villas at Oasis Village, which are spaced far enough apart to avoid feeling like you're in a housing development. Note: neither campsite is "adults only." Families are present during peak season. If absolute privacy is your priority, May, June, or September remain the best option.
The couple with a dog
Both Montana Parc campsites accept dogs, with conditions: only one animal per accommodation, weighing less than 10 kg, with a valid vaccination record, and must be kept on a leash within the campsite. A daily supplement applies (approximately €5-7/day). Regarding beaches: Les Marines de Gassin (4 km from the Gulf of St-Tropez 4★) and the beaches of Fréjus (10 km from Oasis Village) allow dogs outside the summer season. In July and August, lifeguarded beaches generally prohibit animals. Check local regulations before you travel.

Absolutely. While both campsites offer kids' clubs and family entertainment during peak season, they also have spaces and services specifically designed for adults: quiet pool areas, fitness facilities, a lounge bar, and a terrace restaurant. Outside of July and August, the atmosphere is particularly suited to couples.
Oasis Village is 10 km from the beaches of Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël. The Gulf of Saint-Tropez is 4 km from the beaches of Marines de Gassin, and 11 km from the legendary beaches of Pampelonne.
Much less so than in July and August. In May and June, booking 3 to 4 weeks in advance is generally sufficient. In September, some accommodations remain available at the last minute, and the very popular wooden chalets are often the first to be booked. July and August are magnificent. But it's also the peak season for both campsites. For a couple's getaway, May-June and September are much more suitable. The sea temperature is usually over 22°C by mid-May. Accommodation is available without booking six months in advance. Prices are 40 to 50% lower than in the summer. And the ratio of space to the number of guests makes all the difference; the terrace truly feels like yours again.
For a couple, the premium wooden chalet is the most appealing choice at both campsites. More intimate than a standard mobile home, better integrated into the surrounding vegetation, with a semi-covered terrace that truly connects with nature. The premium mobile home remains an excellent option if you prioritize interior space and air conditioning. Both include a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private terrace.
